How's this for something to invent ...
Get a "wet suit" (used by scuba divers) and affix 256 little electric motors
to it at various carefully selected places. Put little off-center
counter-weights on each motor.
Now hook up all 256 motors to driver circuitry. The driver circuitry is
commanded by a small CPU (a 6802 would suffice), which is connected to a
serial port. Connect pins 1 and 2 (ground and data in) via a T-Tap to your
modem's cable.
The CPU's ROM tells it to scan the line for the following sequence of
characters:
ESC % m n
where m and n are bytes representing motor address (1 to 256) and duration
of activation (1 = .1 seconds, 256 = 25.60 seconds).
You now have the means to have sex with somebody while participating in a
online chat (a.k.a "CB Chat Mode"). True, they'll have to set up a bunch of
macros, and they'll make some mistakes, but heck, we all made some mistakes
our first time, didn't we?
The motors, of course, act as vibrators. The off-centre counterweight sees
to that. It'll take some skill to arrange the motors for optimum effect,
but I'm sure we'll have no trouble finding volunteers to help us with the
testing.
Y'gotta admit, it does give new meaning to the term "wet suit".
