As I'm sure everyone knows, the Census 2010 is in full swing.  For those that didn't receive the forms (a lot of them as they didn't send forms to PO/Carrier routes) they are wasting money hiring people to 'collect' information.  For the time being we'll ignore the fact that they are attempting to collect information far beyond what the Constitution authorizes (a enumeration, which doesn't require 'race' or any other questions beyond how many people live here).

Oh boy, here they come (this was visit four, first 3 were around 5pm and only Curly showed up..no Moe).  I was not at home while these characters were skulking around on my property:

Now, would you open your door to people dressed like this:

Do they not have a dress code?  Dirty looking jeans, shorts.... frumpy polo shirts...  I'll open the door long enough to tell them to get the hell off my property.  I guess he noticed the security camera, and check out that glare:

Someday maybe they'll actually catch me at home, at which point I'll be the one collecting information.  As the census 'Badges' are easy to reproduce and don't even have a photo on them... I'll have to see their photo ID's, take down the information and then call the Census Bureau to verify their identity.  However before I do that, I'll have to call the Census Bureau to verify a non-existent persons ID as I have a feeling they'll just say 'yes' to anything rather than actually do any work and verify anything.

If that conforms their ID, I will tell them the number of people here.  Period.  They will then leave of their own free will, or with my boot on their backsides.
